Scam company after changing hands Nov 31, 2020

This company USED to be a clothing company that I have ordered from in the past. Now they charge you for items they never send and continue to blame the pandemic when you dont get the items.

They gave me a tracking number that showed the package was just sitting there but never actually given to the post office. When I called they lied and told me my post office had it and was not giving it to me. My post master told me they never scanned it into the Post office system. So I called AMEX and got my money refunded.

The scam company again lied and pretended my items were shipped 2-Day, but I emailed they back stating they are scammers and there was no tracking number. They emailed me back 3 days later with an invalid FedEx tracking number and a disclaimer that shipping is slow due to pandemic. The post office and FedEx have been shipping so I dont know how they are getting away with this. Start by contacting your re-edit card company and get your money back.

This is a scam and they are just collecting money from credit card companies, which will often refund you and let them keep small amounts instead of chasing after them.

There is no more Coldwater Creek. They were purchased by con artists, and not even good ones at that!

Wrong size ordered for item I placed with customer assistant

I called and placed a large order part was for my sister's birthday gift which would be mailed to her. I checked email and thank God I did the top was a small.

I had bought her a $159.00 set bottoms medium and top large. I ended up with a small top. I called and tried to correct the order which has not mailed out yet. They said you have to pay for the order and the new shirt also before we will ship the correct size.

Now I am furious and say I want to cancel my order. I am on hold for 30 minutes. I call my credit card company and they said all I can do is to file a Dispute against Coldwater Creek. I will ship all my things back my sister is going to ship her gift back.

They thought they were smart however they just lost about $3000.00 a year. The last order from them was short a $ 89.00 top which I never got back money or top.

I thought the new owners were better but alas they are worse. I suggest you shop Lord Taylor or Dillard's never had a problem with them.

Years and years ago Coldwater Creek head quality apparel and their pricing was justified. For the last three years or so Ive had a cold water creek credit card and was excited to enhance my wardrobe. Unfortunately, the quality fell severely short in 75% of the instances. Anything black or dark blue I bought faded very quickly. They wouldnt accept returns because they were washed. These items were cotton and did not say to dry clean or hand wash. I bought a couple sweaters that were called dream soft or something like that. Every time I wash them some of the fabric disappeared. I got maybe 10 washes out of each of the approx. $70 sweaters before they became to thin to wear. Sizing was another issue. Not consistent. So here I have a $900+ Credit card bill for these clothes that didnt last. $900 doesnt go far when everything is $68+. Feel so ripped off. Their prices dont reflect the quality and their name no longer indicates one of the best catalog clothing companies.

I am a long time customer of Coldwater. However, I want to stop receiving catalogues.

I don't look at them and it is not green. It is a waste. I also receive 2 catalogues, one at my PO box and one at my physical address. So I go to the website at Coldwater to receive customer service.

The recording says to just order online. No assistance. No website to contact via email. So I finally got to go onto an online chat.

I thought this would help me. The lady was very nice. At the end, she automatically connected me to Get an Answer Now for $1.00. Seriously, that is awful customer service......actually a minus for customer service.

Not just bad, AWFUL.

Surely there must be a better way for this business to connect with customer who need a variety of kinds of assistance. It is extremely off putting.

can not get refund for my return. Have contacted customer service bi monthly for the last 4 months and all they say is wait 2 weeks, Am out 200$ and can not find corporate offices to contact.

I made an order on line. The confirmation email gave the wrong shipping address. I called to correct this. I was told the order had not gone through in spite of the confirmation email and confirmation number I had received. I was required to call back 3 times to check if the order had gone through and each time they had no record of it. I will be calling my bank on Monday to cancel any payment filed by Coldwater Creek and will never order from them again.

I’m dealing with the same problem at this time. Sadly I sent my transaction sheet in with my return and send it through USPS.

I don’t have my transaction number I am trying through the phone through email I will when I’m on the phone calls for a half an hour and better. I sent a dispute into my credit card company but I may be out a lot of money.

I have been a long-term customer of cold water however they have now lost my business. Be careful folks when you order just don’t.

Still waiting for my order

Still waiting on clothing I bought over a month ago. Now I saw where my blouse that I ordered is no longer available online. Does that mean I will get it or not? Tried to call customer service with a wait time of an hour or more. Finally, emailed them still waiting on a reply on that. In the past I was very happy with their clothing but I don't think I will use this company again. Their business practices seem strange. I will probably end up fighting for my money back, not looking forward to the hassle.

I ordered tall large and was sent small petite, cant find a return label any where, called the number I found on line and there wasnt even a option for returning a product, my hold time was 3 minutes and I hung up after 30 minutes of being on hold. When I found a site to try to email your company I just got a message that the site wasnt working. I just need to return your product????

It's a shame that so many people including me left without refund or items after Coldwater creek closed without any notification. Now you can reach them over the phone, but they're stating the new owner and have no responsibility for any past orders. I have been told to call my bank/ payment I used to request a refund. But my bank not issuing it, just confirming that it was correct and authorized transaction when I placed my order. So who will pay me back for the returned item? I have my return slip with all the info and tracking #. So sad. What a fraud!! Never shop there again.
